Wolds 8 (15 Miles) - Bridlington Walking Festival 2024

Join us for an exhilarating journey through the heart of the captivating East Yorkshire Wolds on the Wolds 8 walk, a featured highlight of the Bridlington Walking Festival 2024. This 15-mile walk promises fantasic views of the East Yorkshire Wolds.   

Setting off from the quaint village of Burton Agnes, our route winds its way through the idyllic landscapes, immersing you in the timeless beauty of the Wolds. Prepare to be enchanted as we pass through the historic villages of Boynton, Rudston, Kilham, and Harpham, each offering its own unique charm and character.

Anticipate a 7 to 8-hour walk starting promptly at 8 AM from Burton Agnes Hall on Sunday, September 22nd. Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a punctual departure.

Fitness & Equipment:

Your safety is our utmost priority. Please ensure you are physically prepared for the journey and equipped with suitable gear. Sturdy walking boots or shoes are indispensable for navigating the uneven and potentially muddy terrain. Additionally, do not forget essentials such as sun cream and a waterproof jacket to shield against the elements.

Restrictions:

Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate dogs on our walks.

Food & Drink:

Stay nourished and hydrated throughout the expedition. Bring an ample supply of water and snacks, or pack a lunch for sustenance. We will arrange a mid-walk break for rest and replenishment, while Burton Agnes and other villages along the route offer various options for refreshments. Upon completion, join us for a well-deserved pint and delectable cuisine at a local establishment.
