Join us for an unforgettable 15-mile group walk through the stunning Howardian Hills, starting and ending at Castle Howard in North Yorkshire. This medium-difficulty route offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and historic charm, making it a fantastic day out for those with some walking experience and a reasonable level of fitness.

What to Expect

We’ll set off from the Castle Howard car park, beginning our adventure in the picturesque village of Coneysthorpe. Heading west, we’ll pass through Cum Hag Wood and climb past Moor Hill via Broats Lane, reaching the delightful village of Terrington. Here, we’ll take a moment to appreciate the charming surroundings before continuing north-east on the historic Centenary Way. Along this stretch, we’ll pass Howthorpe Farm and trek through the tranquil Hollin Hill Plantation.

Our journey continues along the scenic Slingsby Bank and Coneysthorpe Banks Wood, where we’ll encounter landmarks like Park House and Low…
