It's a Sea Thing (15 Miles) - Bridlington Walking Festival 2024

Immerse yourself in the coastal magic of East Yorkshire with our "It's a Sea Thing" walk—an invigorating 15-mile journey through stunning seaside landscapes and historic sites. Starting from the South Cliff Car Park at 9 AM on Sunday, September 15th, this epic coastal trek will take you through Fraisthorpe, Barmston, Skipsea, Skipsea Castle, Ulrome, and back towards Fraisthorpe, culminating at the South Cliff Car Park.

Anticipate a rewarding 7 to 8-hour walk, so please arrive at the South Cliff Car Park 15 minutes early for a prompt departure.

Fitness & Equipment:

Prepare for a moderate to challenging walk with suitable footwear, such as sturdy walking boots or shoes, as we navigate various terrains including beach paths and village trails. Ensure you have essential items like sun protection, water, and weather-appropriate clothing.

Restrictions:

Please note that due to the length and nature of this walk, we are unable to accommodate dogs on this particular route.

Food & Drink:

Stay energized throughout the journey with snacks and water. Consider bringing a packed lunch to enjoy during our rest stops, or explore local eateries along the route.
