Cow Shed Loop (6.5 Miles) - Bridlington Walking Festival

Join us for a delightful coastal walk on the Cowshed Loop, a picturesque 6.5-mile circular route starting at the Cow Shed based in Fraisthorpe. This walk showcases the stunning coastal scenery of East Yorkshire, with highlights including a leisurely stroll along the beach and a visit to the charming village of Barmston.

Setting off from the Cow Shed, our route meanders along the coastline, offering breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding landscapes. Experience the tranquil beauty of this coastal stretch as we make our way towards Barmston, where you can immerse yourself in the village's quaint atmosphere.

Anticipate a leisurely 2.5 to 3-hour walk starting promptly at 10 AM from the Cow Shed on Saturday, September 14th. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a punctual departure and ample time to prepare.

Fitness & Equipment:

While this walk is relatively moderate in length, please ensure you are physically prepared for a coastal walk. Comfortable walking shoes or boots are recommended, as some sections may be sandy or uneven. Don't forget to bring essentials like sun cream and weather-appropriate clothing.

Restrictions:

Please note that dogs are welcome on this walk, provided they are well-behaved and kept on a leash throughout.

Stay refreshed with water and snacks, as there will be opportunities to take breaks along the way. Consider bringing a packed lunch to enjoy during our stop at Barmston, or explore local options for a mid-walk treat.
